Harry’s Bar

A location, a dream where to abandon oneself on a glam_ee Dream chair .

To write the history of this place, one would need to listen to the memories of those who visited it. Everyone has a piece of Roman ‘dolce vita’ history: love affairs, secret agreements, a family atmosphere.

It was the 1960s, and the bar proudly represented the meeting point of Rome’s nightlife, of the “dolce vita”, the place where tumultuous loves were born, where agreements were signed that were never revealed, where everything was familiar: this was Harry’s Bar.

Harry’s Bar, founded in 1959, had already been around since 1918 as the Golden Gate pastry shop. In 1958, it became an American Bar Restaurant. Today, with its restored stucco, it retains the atmosphere of those years, and with the choice of Dreams chairs with their large, generous shapes, the level of comfort is a dream indeed.
